After Party

Hi!

If you’ve just tie dyed with us - you’re in the right place!

You will find the wash out instructions and after care tips below.

Thanks for partying with us and don’t forget to show us the big reveal!

The Rinse Out

  1. Wait until anytime the following day to wash out your tie dyes.

  2. Bring the bag(s) to a sink or bathtub and run under cold water to get as much dye out as possible, leaving the rubber bands on.

  3. Take off remaining rubber bands and continue to carefully rinse and squeeze the shirt until water runs (mostly) clear.

  4. For designs with the waxy sinew string (hearts, yin yangs, geodes, mandalas), find the end of the string, unwrap it and discard.

  5. Continue rinsing and squeezing until you’ve washed out most of the excess dye.

Wash & Dry

  1. Wash freshly rinsed dyes in cold water on delicate cycle w/ regular detergent. Multiple shirts that were dyed can be washed together after rinsing.

  2. Shirts are preshrunk, so feel free to dry on low-heat with no issues.

  3. After the first wash, dyes can be washed with any dark or like colors in cold water.

Future Care

  1. Wash in cold water on delicate cycle.

  2. Do not wash whites with your tie dye.

  3. To preserve color richness and protect other clothing from possible dye transfer, we recommend to wash in cold water only with dark colors.
